Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is popularly known as MAH CET. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted every year by the DTE (Directorate of Technical Education). The aspirants who want to pursue MBA programs in Maharashtra should appear in MAH CET. In total 47 cities of the Maharashtra state, official authorities conducted MAH CET. MAH CET is also commonly known as MMS/CET and MAH MBA.

Aspirants can pay the application fee online as well as offline mode. The online mode of payment can be made through a debit card/ credit card or Net banking method. And offline application fees can be paid through the challan method.

MAH CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

MAH CET 2022 eligibility criteria for the aspirants are the following:

  • The nationality of the applicant must be Indian. But OCI/ PIO and NRI aspirants can also apply for MAH CET.
  • Other state students to apply for this entrance exam must complete non-local eligibility clauses following the state government rules.
  • All the aspirants must graduate from any recognized universities or institutes.
  • Aspirants must secure a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks (45% for OBC/ PWD of MH state) in graduation to appear in the entrance exam.
  • Aspirants appearing in the final degree of graduation are also eligible to apply for the entrance examination.

MAH CET 2022 Exam Pattern

MAH CET 2022 exam details are the following:

  • Exam mode: MAH CET 2022 will be conducted in online CBT mode.
  • Total time: The total duration of MAH CET is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Total sections: There will be a total of 4 sections in the paper- Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension/ Verbal Ability.
  • Question type: Only multiple-choice type questions.
  • The total number of questions: A total of 200 questions. 50 in Quantitative Aptitude, 75 in Logical Reasoning, 25 in Abstract Reasoning, and 50 in Reading Comprehension/Verbal ability.
  • Total marks: The paper will be a total of 200 marks.
  • Marking scheme: 1 mark is given for every correct answer. For wrong answers, no marks will be deducted.

MAH CET 2022 Syllabus

Various topics in MAH CET 2022 syllabus are given below:

  • Verbal Ability/Reading Comprehension: In this section, questions from topics like a verb, adjective, one word, comprehension, synonym, antonym, and errors are asked.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: In this section, questions from topics like number system, accuracy, ratio and proportion, time and work, speed and distance, profit and loss, and simple and compound interest are asked.
