With traditional or low-performance computers, you have to choose between speed and image quality. A situation that should not be present in the case of a good tomograph, as it must be designed to offer an optimal balance in both aspects.

This is essential, because it determines the minimum radiation dose to be delivered to each patient, without affecting image quality. Remember that the lower it is, the greater your peace of mind and the less compromised your health will be due to the side effects of a CT scan.

– Manufacturer’s reputation. The reputation of the manufacturer is one of the important factors to consider. Even if you buy a number of refurbished CT scan machines, as long as they are manufactured by a reputable manufacturer, that shouldn’t be a problem. 

– Noise levels that it processes.

– Technological development. Not all CT scan machines use the same technology. Machines with the most advanced technology will certainly produce “accurate readings.”

The acquisition of these medical equipment is essential for any medical center that wants to increase its competitiveness, but it should not be done lightly. Each weight invested must be justified by its technical specifications and by the benefits reported by the particular scanner.
