Chetak result is the name given to traditional literature on a horse that rode Maharana Pratap to the Battle of Haldighati, fought on June 18, 1576, at Haldighati, in the Aravalli mountains of Rajasthan, western India.

The story spread across Rajasthan, to Bengal, and elsewhere. There, Pratap was considered a symbol of resistance and, in a sense, a nationalist resistance to British colonial rule.
