MTG Arena, the collectible card game, has been released today in an Early Access version for Android phones. In the game, users can earn cards through boosters packages, in-game purchases or micropayments. A player’s victory depends on how strong his deck of cards is. The beta version of MTG Arena for PC was launched in November 2017 and final versions for Windows and macOS will be released in September 2019 and June 2020 respectively.
With the release of the game, the company also introduces a new set of cards. These cards are related to the Vikings and were named after Kaldheim. The game is free to download, but players will need to spend some money to build a decent deck. Users will not be able to transfer their physical cards online, but there is an exception to this.
