Kiss delivered an oversized version of their current show End of the Road during the Kiss 2020 Goodbye live-action concert at Atlantis in Dubai.

The 22-song set was virtually identical to what the group was playing before the COVID-19 pandemic forced them off the road earlier this year. But the scene was much bigger. During the pre-show promo film, it was revealed that Kiss had two identical sets from End of the Road and brought them together to create the biggest stage they’ve ever performed on.

There were some minor changes to the show, however, perhaps out of respect for local customs and beliefs. Gene Simmons didn’t spit blood during his bass solo, and the words “bitch” and “virgin soul” were removed from the lyrics to “100,000 Years” and “God of Thunder”.

Considering the fact that the live audience was all on the hotel balconies away from the stage, they made a very impressive noise throughout the show. The band sounded and looked great and the seaside setting, the gigantic pool in front of the stage and the huge amount of fireworks that exploded throughout the show combined to create some stunning visuals
