About:
Etika was birthed in Brooklyn, 12 May 1990. His real name, however, was Desmond Daniel Amofah. Owuraku Amofah (his father) was a Ghanaian politician and lawyer. Sabrina Amofah served as his mother.
Profession:
Amofah was a rapper as well as a model. He also launched the YouTube channel TR1Iceman, and EWNetwork in 2006. Joy-Con was his favorite nickname. His fans have a YouTube Channel – JOYCONBOYZ. Many of his friends paid tribute to him last year via social media platforms.

A few days before his passing, he posted dark and gloomy videos online. Also, his video gave clues to his stress levels. He claimed that he was treated oddly and that he had come up with the idea of bringing together like-minded people.

His last video of apology was recorded on June 20th and will be posted approximately at midnight on TR1Iceman’s channel. Etika disappeared on the 19th of June 2019.

Etika sadly passed away on the 19th of June 2019. On the east bank, his body was found. The Office of Chief Medical Examiner confirmed that the incident was suicide on 26 June. Etika had jumped over Manhattan Bridge to drown in the East River at New York City.
